Apple executive testifies in court hearing on payment system for app developers

The hearing is part of a lawsuit brought by Fortnite maker Epic Games, which alleges Apple's previous developer contracts violated anti-steering and unfair competition laws.

Another Apple executive took the stand Thursday on the third day of an evidentiary hearing against the tech giant related to its alleged noncompliance with a court injunction, telling Fortnite maker Epic Games' attorneys that he met several times with other executives to design an outside payment system for app developers.
