A social services agency and a private developer have joined forces to create a distinctive new retail project intended to appeal to San Diego's Latino residents.

LandGrant Development and the Metropolitan Area Advisory Committee, a San Diego social services agency, acquired 6.3 acres from the city of San Diego for a mixed-use project in Barrio Logan, a redeveloping neighborhood south of downtown.
