Beretta Gun Case Ends in Mistrial
SAN FRANCISCO - A retrial of a case that has drawn the attention of the nation's gun makers and their opponents ended in a mistrial Tuesday, with a jury deadlocked 6-6 over whether a manufacturer could have prevented the death of a 15-year-old Berkeley boy accidentally shot by his best friend.
