Hospitality Sector Resting Easier in 2003

BY MICHAEL GOTTLIEB CREJ Assignment Editor No doubt the real estate sector that felt the most pain in 2002 was hospitality. The double-whammy of the Sept. 11 terrorist attack and the stock market's bubble bursting forced most corporations to cut back significantly on business travel last year. According to a recent study by the Travel Industry Association of America, 30 percent of all business travelers reduced their air travel in the past 12 months.
