City of Riverside Approves Transportation Mitigation Fee

ASSOCIATED PRESS RIVERSIDE - The City Council approved a growth fee that forces developers to pay extra if they want to build in the city. The Transportation Uniform Mitigation Fee is being adopted by cities throughout western Riverside County to help pay for efforts aimed at relieving traffic congestion caused by growth.
