Solar panel company fails in attempt to toss contract fraud lawsuit

The company allegedly withheld some orders to extract a higher price from customers.

An Alameda Superior Court judge declined to toss a contract fraud lawsuit accusing solar panel producer Trina Solar U.S., Inc. of purposefully withholding portions of orders totaling $300 million from delivery to a group of five energy companies as part of a scheme "attempting to extort additional payments from the plaintiffs."
