Google trade secrets trial slated for November

ReactX sued Google in 2018 on claims that the tech giant misappropriated and misused its confidential information, platform and proprietary source code to develop products including Google Ad Manager, Google Ad Exchange and Google Ads.

A Los Angeles judge Monday refused to consider a trial date earlier than November for a tech company accusing Google of misappropriating trade secrets. Judge Randolph M. Hammock told attorneys for ReactX that he would sooner reassign the case than grant their request for the earlier jury trial date, despite an in-person appearance from the company’s CEO in opposition of a stipulation to extend the statute of limitations on the long-running case.
