Former Nickelodeon producer claims child abuse documentary defamed him

Dan Schneider claims his portrayal in the series "Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV" was a "hit job" that falsely associated him with criminal behavior.

Children's television producer Dan Schneider sued Warner Bros. Discovery and Sony Pictures Television on Wednesday alleging that the documentary series "Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV" falsely implied he sexually abused children who worked on his shows.

"'Quiet on Set's' portrayal of Schneider is a hit job," Jana M. Moser wrote in Schneider's complaint.
