U.S. Magistrate Judge Dennis M. Cota loves teaching law students--so much so that he makes regular trips from the U.S. Eastern District of California's "outpost" in Redding down to UC Davis School of Law. Last month, he was at the federal courthouse in downtown Sacramento watching students in his advanced trial practice class.
