High expectations, low egos

Attorneys at Adams, Duerk & Kamenstein say they take their work extremely seriously, but not themselves.

One of civil defense litigator Amy O. Duerk's favorite things about her job is that none of her colleagues are obsessed with self-aggrandizement.

"We have high expectations for ourselves and each other, and we want to do the best level of work," Duerk said. "But we also don't have big egos, and that makes working with them very easy and fun."
