Discovery request denied in $6B NFL antitrust case

Plaintiffs had argued that the NFL defendants improperly withheld documents related to the league's control over the pricing of "Sunday Ticket" broadcast packages for television subscribers.

A federal judge in Los Angeles on Thursday declined to re-open the discovery window in a $6 billion multidistrict antitrust litigation that involves out-of-market licensing agreements for the National Football League's "Sunday Ticket" broadcast package on grounds the request was untimely.
