      LOS ANGELES - James A. Albracht readily admits to having had a somewhat "dictatorial" approach to his job when he was appointed to the Los Angeles County Superior Court in 1982.
      "I came on the bench thinking that I would change the world," Albracht said, "so I was very rigid with lawyers."
