Attorney Switches From Courtroom to Classroom

In 2003, it looked like personal-injury attorney Barry Shanley had it all. He had his own firm in Montrose, Potter, Shanley & Shanley, with his wife, family attorney Sue Shanley. Their two children were in college and getting ready for independent life. He was a past president of the Beverly Hills Bar Association and sat on the board of the group's charitable foundation.
