Jurist Urges Congress to Fix Court Security
WASHINGTON - U.S. District Judge Joan Humphrey Lefkow of Chicago, whose husband and mother were murdered by a disgruntled litigant in February, appeared on Capitol Hill Wednesday and urged lawmakers to fix weaknesses in judicial security that she said put her and other judges at risk.
