Some Jurists Place Equity Over Procedural Purity

Icode Corp., 2004 DJDAR 11907, the presiding justice of the state Court of Appeal in Santa Ana wrote one of the most entertaining and lucid opinions of the year in explaining why his court had to dismiss an appeal due to "a particularly well-camouflaged trap for the unwary."
