Wilson Appoints San Diego Judge Despite Criticism
SAN DIEGO - Terry O'Rourke, a controversial San Diego Superior Court judge, was nominated Thursday to fill a nearly 2-year-old vacancy on the 4th District Court of Appeal, Gov. Pete Wilson announced - setting up a nomination hearing that could prove the most contentious since the appointment of Janice R. Brown to the state Supreme Court.
