Oil Company Charged in Gasoline Scam

In what apparently is the first high-tech consumer fraud case of its kind in the nation, prosecutors announced Thursday they have charged four employees of a small oil company with shortchanging thousands of motorists out of $1 million worth of gasoline by fraudulently altering computer components inside petrol pumps.
