Watershed Decision
RIVERSIDE - The most recent legal battle over the state's water hasn't resulted in people taking shorter showers or watching their lawns turn brown. Nevertheless, the state Supreme Court's pending decision whether farmers in the Mojave Desert can keep pumping all the water they want from sources on their property, while others pay big bucks if they go over their allotment, is expected to be something of a watershed.
