Kaiser Slashes Favored Law Firms to Four

SAN FRANCISCO- Reeling from what is anticipated to be a second consecutive year of losses, the Kaiser Permanente Group - the nation's largest health maintenance organization - has slashed the number of outside law firms it turns to for the bulk of its litigation from 150 to just four in hopes of saving millions in outside legal fees.
