LOS ANGELES - Army paratrooper Freddy Cordova completed four tours in Iraq. And every time he went off to war, he had more to worry about than just the possibility he would be killed or maimed. He feared his young wife, Ana L. Hernandez, would be deported while he was away.
Hernandez was born in Mexico City and married Cordova three years ago. Between them they have four children.
