A bill recently introduced in the state Legislature aims to blunt the effects of a state Supreme Court ruling that eliminates redevelopment agencies.


Senate President Pro Tem Darrell Steinberg on Wednesday introduced Senate Bill 654, which would allow municipalities to permanently retain the portion of redevelopment dollars earmarked for affordable housing projects.
