Chipmaker Admits to Fixing Prices, Will Pay Fine
SAN FRANCISCO - German chipmaker Infineon Technologies AG has agreed to plead guilty to fixing the price of computer memory chips and will pay a $160 million penalty, the third-largest antitrust fine in U.S. history, the Justice Department announced Wednesday.
