Lawyers Yawn At Changes in Overtime Rules

Labor lawyers reacted to Monday's change in federal overtime requirements with a yawn and a stir. The yawn because California's wage and hour regulations are more stringent than the federal government's, likely exempting the state from the immediate impacts of the new federal standards.
