Federal government to give nonprofits money to pay lawyers for immigrant children

Legal aid nonprofit organizations in Los Angeles are now also eligible to receive federal funds for legal representation for more than 4,000 unaccompanied immigrant minors in the the state.

Less than a week after learning they're eligible to receive state funding to provide legal representation for more that 4,000 unaccompanied immigrant children in the state, local legal aid organizations are now also eligible to receive federal funds for the same cause.
