Entertainment lawyers push for changes to Talent Agencies Act

Entertainment attorneys, including members of the Beverly Hills Bar Association, are pushing for major changes to the long controversial Talent Agencies Act, a state law outlining who can find work for entertainers.

LOS ANGELES - Entertainment attorneys, including members of the Beverly Hills Bar Association, are pushing for major changes to the long controversial Talent Agencies Act, a state law outlining who can find work for entertainers.


"The Beverly Hills Bar Association has decided it should actually seek amendments" to the law, said Mark Staenberg, chief executive officer of the association.
