SACRAMENTO - Ronald A. Arendt fixed river boats in the U.S. Navy during the height of the Vietnam War. Later, as an investigator for law firms in the states, he recalled racing more than 100 miles per hour to serve a process document, being attacked by a dog and having a .45 caliber pistol shoved in his face. But it was his work as a personal injury attorney that finally raised his blood pressure.
