Judge will allow Oracle to present damages case

SAN FRANCISCO - Attorneys for Oracle Corp. told a federal judge Friday they would not accept statutory damages of $150,000 or less for copyright infringement of elements of the Java programming language and instead will still seek a higher award based on Google Inc.'s profits.
