LOS ANGELES - Attorneys representing Toyota Motor Corp. have asked a federal judge to throw out a civil racketeering lawsuit filed by a former in-house counsel who accuses the automaker of hiding damaging evidence from plaintiffs' lawyers and federal authorities, then lying to the courts about it.
