Audio, Video Recordings Don't Show All of Contact Between Suspect, Police

Forum Column - By Patrick Mattimore - A study released this week by the Center on Wrongful Convictions at Northwestern University sampled police departments that are either videotaping or audiotaping suspects' confessions. The study concluded that those departments, as well as prosecutors' offices with whom they work, uniformly favor such a procedure.
