Pupil's Speech Was Silenced, Suit Says

Tyler Chase Harper wore a T-shirt to his San Diego-area school that read, "Homosexuality is shameful." The 16-year-old Christian chose to protest a "Day of Silence" at Poway High School, meant to raise awareness of the pressure gay people often feel to keep their sexual orientation to themselves.
