Jury Can Hear Allegations of Scrambled Files, Judge Rules

A jury hearing the Bratz copyright battle will get to learn of Mattel's contentions that a former company employee used a software program to scramble computer evidence in an effort to hide his alleged creation of the lucrative dolls for a competitor, a federal judge decided Tuesday.
