Anniversary of Internment Begs Reflection: Is History Repeating?

Roosevelt, 63 years ago tomorrow, signed Executive Order No. 9066, under which 120,000 people of Japanese descent were forced from their homes in California and elsewhere. Feb. 19, 1942, launched the most sweeping violation of civil liberties in America since slavery, and is, itself, a day that will live in infamy.
