Outgoing bar president oversaw ambitious year

When Patrick Kelly gave his first speech as State Bar president, he ticked off a half-dozen issues he wanted to tackle. Now, a year later, the bar has made progress on all of those - plus several more.

Over the last 12 months, the State Bar has focused its attention on a broad spectrum of issues ranging from old lawyers to young lawyers, from court coffers to illegal immigrants, from discipline to civility, from computers to real estate.
