Brown signs bills to save courts money

A variety of changes to court procedures proposed by the judicial branch to save money and bring in more revenue were approved by Gov. Jerry Brown early this week.

SACRAMENTO - California courts got good news Tuesday with Gov. Jerry Brown's signing of a number of bills designed to save courts money. The new laws will increase the use of electronic documents and create new service fees.
