Internet 'eraser' bill may provide false security

Last week, Gov. Jerry Brown signed into law a bill intended to protect minors in the digital world. One provision of Senate Bill 568 prohibits companies from online marketing of age-inappropriate products to minors. A second provision, what some have dubbed the "eraser button bill," purports to give minors the right to remove content they posted online and requires minors be notified of the process.
