Omnibus case against California's high speed rail project moves forward

SACRAMENTO - Opponents of the state's $68.5 billion high speed rail line Friday attempted to convince a judge to block bond sales for the controversial 520-mile network.


The request, which Sacramento County Superior Court Judge Michael Kenny took under submission, is the latest in a multicase duel between rail advocates and a handful of litigants who represent the biggest hurdle for the project yet...
