Bill would expand interpreter services for non-English speakers in civil cases
The U.S. Department of Justice warned California courts earlier this year it needs to start providing interpreters for non-English speakers in civil cases. Now a bill awaiting the governor's signature would explore that idea.

The U.S. Department of Justice warned California courts earlier this year they need to start providing interpreters for non-English speakers in civil cases. Now a bill awaiting signature by Gov. Jerry Brown would create a pilot program to explore that idea.
