Former Nixon Peabody LLP partner David M. Tamman was sentenced to seven years in prison Monday for his role in a Ponzi scheme that cheated investors out of some $22 million.
U.S. District Judge Philip S. Gutierrez handed down the sentence, which was slightly less than the 96 months prosecutors had sought.
Tamman was convicted after a two-week bench trial in front of Gutierrez last November. ...
