State Assembly passes bill that would require videotaped interrogations

A bill that would require law enforcement to videotape interrogations with minors suspected or accused of murder won approval from the state Assembly on Wednesday.


SB 569, introduced by Sen. Ted Lieu, D-Torrance, now returns to the Senate. Success there would bring it to Gov. Jerry Brown's desk.
