Controversy surrounds bill on therapy dogs in court
A family law attorney turned lawmaker has received bipartisan support for a bill allowing some witnesses to have therapy dogs in court. The Assembly Public Safety Committee unanimously passed AB 411 by Assemblyman Richard H. Bloom, D-Santa Monica, earlier this week. It is now eligible for a vote by the full Assembly.
