Warner Sues CBS Over Hit Sitcom

Warner Bros. Television has filed a breach-of-contract suit, alleging CBS Broadcasting Inc. reneged on a promise to pay nearly $70 million if the show "Two and a Half Men" turned out to be a hit.

LOS ANGELES - Warner Bros. Television has filed a breach-of-contract suit, alleging CBS Broadcasting Inc. reneged on a promise to pay nearly $70 million if the show "Two and a Half Men" turned out to be a hit.

The suit, filed Tuesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, claims CBS owes Warner Bros. $49 million for the first four seasons of the sitcom and will owe another $19 million once the show finish...
