Mitchell Silberberg Celebrates 100 Years of Legal Work in Tinseltown

In the early days of Hollywood, the big studios didn't keep in-house counsel. But lawyer Mendel Silberberg, co-founder of Mitchell, Silberberg & Knupp, forged a relationship with Columbia Pictures president Harry Cohn and moved into an office on the studio lot. That close bond between the firm and Hollywood has remained for 100 years.
