Labor Specialist Much Admired by Colleagues

Frederick A. Morgan, known by colleagues as a dean of the traditional labor bar, died Saturday of leukemia. He was 78. "First and foremost Fred was one of the lions of the traditional labor law bar in San Francisco," said Alexander Brainerd, Morgan's former colleague, now a partner at Heller Ehrman White & McAuliffe. "For all of us in the Bronson family it's a great loss."
