Diebold Must Pay For E-mail Fight

SAN FRANCISCO - One of the country's leading manufacturers of electronic voting machines has agreed to pay $125,000 to put an end to a case stemming from the company's unsuccessful attempts to use federal copyright law to squelch publication of internal e-mails.
