Dog Deserves Due Process, Attorney Says

SAN FRANCISCO - A San Francisco civil court judge has temporarily halted the execution of Hera, the Presa Canario involved in the fatal mauling of a Pacific Heights woman, setting the stage for a court hearing on the rights of dogs and their owners during canine death penalty trials.
