Web Site Hangs Ten on Tsunami of Amateur Legal Advice Flooding Internet

LOS ANGELES - Pro pers of the Golden State, the Judicial Council of California feels your pain. In a move that mixes a flinty desire for legal efficiency with a frothy dollop of Pollyannaish egalitarianism, the governing body of the state's courts this week launched a Web site aimed at the 4.3 million Californians - or more than 12 percent of the state's population - who represent themselves in court in some fashion each year.
