Chinese-American lawyer posthumously admitted to California bar

The state Supreme Court on Monday posthumously admitted to practice in California a Chinese lawyer it had rejected 125 years ago, saying it was acting to right "a grievous wrong" from "a sordid chapter of our state and national history."
