Hewlett-Packard wins preliminary approval for shareholder lawsuit over Autonomy deal

Judge Charles R. Breyer granted preliminary approval Friday to a settlement in the shareholder lawsuit that resulted from Hewlett Packard Co.'s purchase of Autonomy Inc. in 2011. The settlement releases claims against HP, its board of directors and CEO Meg Whitman.

Judge Charles R. Breyer granted preliminary approval Friday to a settlement in the shareholder lawsuit that resulted from Hewlett Packard Co.'s purchase of Autonomy Inc. in 2011.
