Courts heeding attorney general in dietary supplement settlements

Judges in San Francisco Superior Court have rejected recent settlements in Prop. 65 cases after Attorney General Kamala Harris raised doubts.

California Attorney General Kamala Harris' recent focus on cases involving chemicals in dietary supplements appears to be paying off.


In the past few months, judges have rejected settlements reached between plaintiffs and defendants in three different lawsuits after the attorney general argued the agreements failed to protect the public interest.
