Justice Wants to See Limits on Appeals, Oral Arguments
VENTURA - Justice Kenneth R. Yegan says the vast majority of the appellate cases that cross his desk are dead on arrival. Some cases turn on long-established appellate law and are quickly affirmed. The briefs in others seem to ignore the appellate court's standard of review.
